The Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Trainer will work with Value Stream Managers and other M. E’s to establish and implement standard training methods for production CNC operators that focus on producing high quality parts in the safest way possible.
Create and maintain documentation with visual instructions to aid operators in the set-up and production of quality parts.
Maintain all tooling documentation related to the set-up/production of parts.
Work with other ME’s and floor personnel to improve current processes.
Create part programs for any new production or revisions to existing products.
Provide support to assigned Manufacturing departments to assure customer demand is being met.
Have an active role in identifying opportunities for improvement in all production processes.
Have the ability to adapt, improvise, and overcome day to day challenges in a manufacturing environment.
A.A.S. in (Machine Tool Technology/Manufacturing Technology) with 1-3 years of manufacturing experience.
1-3 years of experience programming CNC machines.
Knowledge with SolidWorks and Master Cam program packages preferred.
