  • Overview

    Responsibilities include providing support to the entire Foundry management team. The supervisor must ensure proper training of new employees and that safety procedures are being followed; must address attendance and discipline when needed, track hours worked, and oversee the workload and quality control of shop floor processes. Will work as management support where needed including some 2nd shift assignments.

    • Conformance to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and standards.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • AAS in related field, or some college work with intents of continuation, preferred
    • Two years, Foundry experience preferred, or heavy manufacturing
    • Three years supervisory experience, preferred
    • General computer skills with working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word

     Physical Requirements:

    • Standing- sometimes for long periods when overseeing projects or issues

    • Walking- Meetings, administrative duties, departmental rounds

    • Tolerance of dust and fumes

    • Tolerance of extreme heat and cold
